About The Tea Talk
Hello, and a warm welcome to The Tea Talk! :) Since you've dropped by the site, I thought you might be interested in knowing a bit more about the tea lover behind The Tea Talk, and how this website came to be.
My name is Della, and I'm joining you from Newfoundland, Canada, where I live with my husband (and best friend), Jim. And here are some of the reasons why I started The Tea Talk...
- I have a passion for helping others live healthy, fulfilled lives. I'm a counselor, teacher, Master Reflexologist, Reiki Master, and trained cook. I'm also a Market Partner with MONAT. And I thoroughly enjoy sharing information about tea benefits for health and wellness with The Tea Talk.
- I've dreamed for years of being my own boss. And now that dream is coming true, thanks to SBI (Solo Build It)! I searched for quite a while to find the right business for me... and, with SBI, I discovered my perfect fit, combining a fun, inspiring, rewarding online business with one of my very favorite things - tea! And SBI has been the ultimate tool for bringing The Tea Talk to life, providing everything from site building and hosting to guidance and support for my site - and helping me create a delightfully enjoyable, easy-to-manage, profitable, and life-changing e-business.
- A health-conscious lifestyle is in my genes. My parents farmed organically and started an organic certification organization. My mom has prolific organic herb and vegetable gardens, and shelves overflowing with well-used books on herbal medicine. I'm trying to do my part by caring for the environment, choosing organic foods and body-care products, and living a healthy, natural life (and encouraging others to do the same). And, of course, by drinking lots of tea! :)
- My "tea inspiration" came from my amazing (and much missed) grandmother, Annie. She was with us for over 100 years, and credited a diet with lots of strong black tea (Red Rose was her favorite) and plenty of garlic and onions for her long and healthy life. She shared her love of tea with my sisters and me, and I owe my love of (and fascination with) tea to her.
Enough about me... I'd love to hear more about you! What brings you to The Tea Talk? Are you a tea newbie, or has tea been a part of your life for a long time?
